The Nihility 4* weapons are also really good for Welt (much better than the 4* Hunt/Destruction options), and his 5* Weapon is amazing on him (much more so than many of the other Standard Units's signature weapons). His ultimate debuffs enemies to take 12% increased damage for 2 turns (surprisingly high up-time, and since it's on his Ultimate it's "on demand"), his Imprisonment + Slow makes enemies insanely slower - and his levels increase the Imprisonment Advancement Reduction amount.

My friend's Seele is doing less damage with her Ult than my Welt is with his skill. He's been hard-carrying my team (I also have Himeko) and it's not even funny. I had to upgrade my team when the game was getting tougher so I was like "alright I'll do it". I got him as my free pull as well and didn't level him up very much, as I don't usually play Husbando characters on gachas. Surely, no troubles in rng when it comes to jumping mechanics of that skill. Plus, his damage in that situation is ridiculous and better than using it AoE most times. He's more of a slowly but sure kill teams, especially on elite mobs.Īlthough his skill and ultimate have AoE capability, I rather use his skill mostly in single target situations as he melts imaginary shields fast. But if your strategy in game is "high damage less turns style", you might not like Welt to belong on that team. My strategy using her is just to break shields on elite mobs. So literally damage wise, she can outperform but what she doesn't have is the immobilization. Though, Serval on the other hand, to me, she's a dps. I also get that his damage may be bad compared to other units, but in my eyes, he's always a sub-dps with support capabilities. Because, if you can steal a move to put healing or dealing much higher dps/shield-break, I'd always take it. To me, having enemies delay their attacks is much better than making them attack you right away. In my case, Welt is literally the enemies' auto-sleeper especially ones that are weak to imaginary.
